Lawton House
Former home of T. W. Lawton, the first elected school superintendent in Seminole County, Lawton House was built in 1890 and is located on West Broadway in downtown Oviedo. It is home to the Oviedo Historical Society and its museum of local history. The Oviedo Farmer's Market is held the first Saturday of every month on the grounds of the Lawton House, and the home is open to the public at that time.
