Debary Golf and Country Club is a planned community of over 1,200 homes ranging from $200,000 to over $1 million located on the west side of U.S. Highway 17-92 in Debary, FL.  Centered around a Lloyd Clifton designed championship golf course that is consistently chosen as a U.S. Open qualifying site, the development was originally named Debary Plantation and is still referred to as such in the land records. The community is divided into eight sections, which are Fairway Hills, Hampton Hills, Lakeside Villas, The Estates, Westridge, Quail Lake, Hampton Hills Estates, and Beacon Club. Doug’s Insight:  An excellent value and a great alternative for those willing to exchange a slightly longer commute time for more house for the money. Still only minutes away from the Lake Mary office parks and shopping in Sanford. SunRail will make the Orlando commute  much easier. Club fees are very reasonable for a very nice facility. Price differences for a similar house between here and Lake Mary can be $100,000 or more.
