One of the fastest growing areas of Orlando, East Orlando is a popular home for employees of the University of Central Florida, as well as employees of Lockheed/Martin and Siemens/Westinghouse. It is home to the massive Waterford Lakes development, as well as University Estates, Eastwood, Stoneybrook, and Avalon Park developments. A large open air shopping mall was just completed with the area’s first SuperTarget (over 200,000 s.f.).
