Blu River Real Estate

"Due to frequent work relocations, we have worked with a significant number of realtors as both buyers and sellers in widely varying markets. Many realtors did a good job for us. One, however, clearly distinguished himself as being in a complete league of his own. That person was Doug Packard.

ANY realtor can do a search for a specific number of bedrooms and the general accoutrements of a home. Doug, however, was uncanny in his ability to filter through our wide-ranging eclectic tastes (he "listened between the lines") to help us find an amazing, "off the beaten track", property. As buyers, Doug was our staunch and supportive advocate, while always remaining low-key, direct, and never pressuring us.  On all counts, Doug was a tremendous resource.

Then, eight months later, we broke even our own record for how soon we had to move. As much as we hated to sell this wonderful property, there was only person we would have represent us; Doug Packard.  Once again, Doug was invaluable. He provided sage advice, was ever the "voice of reason", and was smart about how he marketed our home. While the newspapers wrote daily of the challenges in the market, we sold our home in record time.

If you are looking for a slick, flashy, "shmoozer" salesperson who tells you what you want to hear, call someone else. If you want to work with someone who is low key yet is highly intelligent and intuitive, has amazing attention to detail, excellent follow-through skills, obvious integrity, strong common sense, professionalism, a willingness to use his in-depth knowledge of the area to really be an asset, and who will be honest and direct (always with your best interests at heart), call Doug.  And, if you're lucky enough to get to meet his wife, Becky, somewhere along the way, count that as a plus.

As far as we're concerned, there aren't enough accolades to describe the exceptional job Doug did -- on BOTH sides of the sales process - on our behalf."
