Rated as one of the top 15 courses in Florida by Golfweek magazine, Timacuan features two distinctly different nines. The front is characterized by rolling terrain, swales, deep pot bunkers, and waste areas with a definite Scottish accent. The back side features stately oaks, towering pines, and several severe doglegs. Water comes into play on 11 holes. Practice facilities are excellent.

Timacuan is a golf community with 490 homes ranging from $350,000 to $800,000. Many homes were built by custom builders as well as production builders Ryland Homes, David Weekley Homes, and MI Homes.
